Scott Gibson Appointed to GS1 Canada's Healthcare Industry Board
We are pleased to announce that Scott Gibson, Vice President, Operations at CPDN has been appointed to GS1 Canada’s Healthcare Industry Board, effective April 1, 2025. This appointment follows 9 years of dedicated service by CPDN’s President, Sav DiPasquale, whom Scott will succeed in this role.
During his 15 years at CPDN, Scott has demonstrated outstanding leadership in managing the needs of pharmaceutical manufacturers to leverage CPDN’s direct, consolidated distribution service to hospitals across Canada. He has fostered collaboration across the healthcare industry and enhanced strategic partnerships with logistics and service providers to focus on quality, service, efficiency and a respect for the environment, leveraging leading edge recyclable delivery solutions. His leadership and expertise in logistics solutions, industry standards and operations will be invaluable as he helps GS1 navigate and implement key strategic initiatives that will advance GS1 Canada’s capabilities and impact towards enhancing supply chain standards for healthcare in Canada.
This appointment provides a valuable opportunity for CPDN to provide its perspectives and that of its member manufacturers to help shape marketplace solutions. Through his position on the Board, Scott will represent the collective voice of hospital distribution to ensure important medicines can be delivered to patients in need with the highest quality, integrity and standards to improve health outcomes.
