MISSISSAUGA MAYOR OFFICIALLY WELCOMES CPDN AT 2016 AGM
MISSISSAUGA, ON, October 17, 2016 - Sav DiPasquale, President, CPDN, welcomed over 50 guests to the organization’s 2016 Annual General Meeting and Open House Event October 17 at its new corporate offices in Mississauga.
In attendance were member manufacturers, strategic partners, third party service providers, prospects, industry associations and a special guest: Her Worship, Bonnie Crombie, Mayor of Mississauga.
Sav gave the audience a summary of fiscal 2016 performance and a progress report on the 3-year strategic plan which is focused on Growth, Operational Excellence and Innovation. He praised the Board and the Operations Committee who volunteer their time, effort and guidance to ensure CPDN operates at the highest levels of corporate governance. He also thanked CPDN’s strategic partners, namely Lydnen International Logistics, Thoughtspeed eCommerce, RBC and Bayshore Healthcare for their contributions to ensuring CPDN’s novel model delivers the service and value that members and hospital customers expect.
The Mayor, in addition to extending a warm welcome to CPDN, spoke of her commitment to the growing life sciences sector in Mississauga, the leadership position the City holds as one of the top biopharmaceutical hubs in North America, and why CPDN is an important addition. She formally welcomed Sav and his team to Mississauga with a certificate from the City celebrating this very special occasion.
The meeting wrapped up with the Mayor and CPDN’s Board Chair, Maria Lopez, unveiling a plaque to officially commemorate CPDN’s new corporate office in Mississauga.
